What You Should Know

The Title IX Compliance Office provides a variety of courses and programs to educate employees on the prevention of sexual misconduct, discrimination, harassment, and violence.


Maintaining a Safe and Respectful Campus – GET 803

This course support’s UF’s vision of an academic and work environment free of discrimination. This course provides employees with a foundational understanding of prohibited conduct, reporting pathways, and best practices in supporting individuals who disclose being harmed.

Every employee of the university (faculty; TEAMS/USPS; and all OPS)—that is, anyone who receives a paycheck from the University of Florida—is expected to complete this training.

New hires are expected to meet this training requirement within the first 30 days of employment. Training is expected of all employees every two years.

GET 803 Course


Responsible Authority Proficiency in Incident Disclosure – GET 804

This course is a requirement for all university employees who are designated by the Title IX Compliance Office as responsible authorities under Title IX.

Employees are expected to meet this training requirement within 30 days of being designated as a responsible authority. Training is expected of all responsible authorities every two years.

Duration: 10 Minutes

Responding to Harassment & Discrimination for Non-Supervisors – GET 809

UF actively promotes equal opportunity policies and practices to prevent sexual discrimination and harassment. This course provides employees with an understanding of harassment and retaliation. This course will help employees focus on how individual and collective efforts can improve workplace culture.

Duration: 45 Minutes
